Corn-Free, Soy-Free, GMO-Free Starter for Turkeys, Quail & Gamebirds

Tiny poults, quail and gamebirds need lots of protein to grow quickly AND in good health! Union Point’s non-GMO, no corn, no soy starter provides 26% crude protein to grow healthy organs, strong bones and shiny feathers.

Our starter gives turkey and specialty birds the nutrition they need for life — and production, too. This feed is made from all sustainable, US-sourced ingredients just like our other feeds, but we’ve dialed in the particular needs of these growing birds.

  • Our 26% non-GMO starter is a game-changer if you're trying to get high-quality protein without soy.

  • Plus, our starter boasts 1.75% total lysine — compared to typical 1.5% levels. Lysine is one of the most essential amino acids for growing turkeys and gamebirds because they can’t make it themselves and without enough, health and growth are restricted.

  • Your birds don’t need to stay on Union Point's starter as long as they do with most starters because the formulation is nutritionally strategic, allowing the birds to access and absorb all the nutrients and protein. They quickly, safely grow up and are soon ready for our Grower Pellets. (Note: not just any 18% grower will be sufficient for turkeys, quail or gamebirds, but our formulation solidly checks all the boxes.)

  • Our starter is cold-pressed for less dust and waste and better nutrition.

  • Our feed delivers in units of 8.75 lb. (net weight) boxes that are easy to manage with an easy-pour spout. They are PFAs-free and fully recyclable.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

This is a complete and balanced ration. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water. Introduce new feeds gradually. Do not feed old, moldy or insect-infested feeds.

SHELF LIFE

Common practice is to consume feed within six months of purchase. But that disregards how old the feed might be when you purchase it. Some mills make feed months in advance. The fact is, nutrition diminishes over time, to the point that by six months vitamins and benefits are half gone. The only way to be sure that your animals are getting what’s described in the nutritional analysis is by buying fresh-made feed.

We also urge you to only buy what you’ll use in a few months, at maximum. Remember to factor in reduced consumption during the winter or if your flock size changes.
