Free Choice Cattle Mineral

$48.20

Mineral with Zinc, Bicarbonate of Soda and Redmond Conditioner, plus Copper

This is a companion free-choice mineral to our Cattle Booster. Cattle love loose salt-based minerals and will eat them happily. Our Free Choice Cattle Mineral is a great way to get hoof support zinc, important copper, rumen-buffering sodium bicarb and selenium into them, especially when they are out on pasture. The animals’ instinctive drive for salt is a great way to get them to eat the amount you want! Our cattle love this, but they don’t overeat it, either. Introduce it gradually if your animals have not had salt lately, or if they haven’t liked their old mineral mix.

  • Over the Mooon Free Choice Cattle Mineral may be fed free choice. A covered feeder is recommended if fed free choice. Consumption will vary depending on the ration fed and individual and flock differences. If animals overeat, provide supplemental salt separately. Fresh, clean water must always be available. If animals are mineral-deficient, it is a wise practice to limit mineral for the first week to the recommended amount, and to ensure adequate feeder space to minimize overconsumption by dominant animals.

  • Do not mix in feed to provide more than .3 ppm selenium in total ration. Do NOT feed to sheep as copper content may be toxic.
